Sarah was born and raised in Edinburgh, Scotland, where her love of books took root early. Growing up in a family of readers and booksellers, she discovered storytelling through R.L. Stine before gravitating toward Stephen King, a shift that sparked a lasting obsession with darker, immersive fiction.

Now she writes upmarket suspense with morally gray female protagonists, atmospheric settings, and families with complex trauma. When she’s not reading or researching her next writing project, Sarah posts on Unedited, her Substack, where she shares information about the creative process and her publishing journey. She currently lives in Venice, California, with her husband.
